Islanders beat the Canucks 3-2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Thomas Hickey scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period to help New York beat Vancouver.

Travis Hamonic and Anders Lee also scored for the Islanders, and Thomas Greiss made 31 stops. Hickey also had an assist.

Linden Vey and Daniel Sedin each had a goal for Vancouver, which got 21 saves from Jacob Markstrom.

Sedin tied it 2-all at 10:52 of the third with his 24th of the season. Hickey then scored his fourth on a drive from the point 2:03 later that appeared to hit a defender in front.
